Jump to Recipe

This roasted tenderstem broccoli is so easy to make and so absolutely delicious. With just a few ingredients, you can make this simple side dish and have it on the table in less than 30 minutes. We love serving this with boneless pork chops, and topping our gochujiang noodles with it. No matter how you serve it, it will be amazing.

Tender-stem broccoli, also called broccolini or long-stem broccoli is a delicious vegetable that goes so well with so many dishes and we love eating it.

My favorite way to make this is to roast it very simply and then add it to my pasta dishes. You can enjoy it the way I do or use it as a side dish and either way, it will be delicious.

Ingredients Needed

  • Tenerstem broccoli (broccolini)
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon
  • Kosher salt

The ingredients are so simple for the tenderstem broccoli recipe but the flavor is out of this World delicious. Combining lemon, olive oil, and salt with roasted veggies is the best combination.

It is just such a great combination of flavors.

How to roast tenderstem broccoli

To make this roasted broccolini, the first thing you want to do is decide if you want the broccolini to remain fully intact. Or would you prefer cutting it in half like we did here.

This is a preference and is best decided based on what you are serving with the tenderstem broccoli. Since we love adding this on top of pasta and noodles most often, we like to cut them in half. This is totally up to you!

Here are the steps:

  1. Prep: Prepare your sheet pan and prep the broccoli.
  2. Assemble: Add all of the ingredients to a sheet pan and toss well to coat the broccoli well.
  3. Bake: It only needs about 20-25 minutes in the oven to start to get a nice char and get crisp.

This is so easy and so good and the fact that this takes just minutes to assemble makes it a favorite in our house.

You can add mesquite seasoning, chili seasoning, minced garlic or any of your favorite seasonings.
