Ingredients
2cupsheavy cream
1cupmilk
¾ cupsugar
2 tablespoonvanilla extract
1teaspoonchocolate chips for topping your ice creamoptional
Turmeric Spice Mix
1teaspoondried ground turmeric
1teaspoonground cinnamon
½teaspoondried ground ginger
Instructions
In a sauce pan over medium low heat, add all of your ingredients and stir well just until the sugar dissolves (about 5 minutes)
2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup milk, ¾ cup sugar, 2 tablespoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon dried ground turmeric, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon dried ground ginger
Remove pan from heat and let cool.
Prepare your ice cream maker according to manufacturers instructions
Pour your ice cream base into the ice cream maker and mix until the ice cream starts to look more like soft serve (15-25 minutes)
Once this happens, transfer the ice cream from the ice cream maker to a shallow dish or ice cream container and cover.
Place in freezer for at least 4 hours but preferably 6.
Scoop out your ice cream and eat as is or top with chocolate chips.

Using this recipe to make vanilla ice cream:
The recipe for this homemade ice cream can be used for other ice cream flavors as well since it is a recipe for homemade vanilla ice cream with golden milk mix added to it.To make plain vanilla ice cream just omit the golden milk mix.To make chocolate chip ice cream, just add 1 cup of chocolate chips to the ice cream maker when making your ice cream.
