Broccoli is one of my all time favorite veggies (next to Brussel Sprouts which is my favorite!) I have two methods for cooking broccoli and both involve bringing out the great flavors of the broccoli and minimizing that bitterness that can happen when they are cooked the wrong way. This recipe is one that I use often and it involves roasting the broccoli in the oven until it is nice and browned and then sprinkling the tops with fresh Parmesan cheese before serving. It is like a grown up version to the American way of cooking broccoli where you added tons of that Velveeta cheese 🙂 This can’t get any simpler or more delicious!
