Making a dessert for Easter does not need to be difficult or expensive. With some flour, butter and a few extra ingredients, you can make any of these Easter desserts!

We made sure to make a list with lots of variety from easter cakes, tarts and even cookies. All of these recipe are all delicious and so easy to make. There is something for everyone on this list!

Carrot cake is the classic dessert when you think of Easter and this one can be made the day before! This is a delicious cake with an even more delicious cream cheese frosting that will certainly please everyone. Bonus is the walnuts are added to the top instead of in the batter for those picky cake eaters!

If you are looking for Italian desserts for Easter, this one is for you! This beautiful olive oil cake gets some of its color from sweet basil that is added to the batter. The ingredients are mixed in a blender and poured straight into cake pans. This beautiful cake is topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar and served with whipped cream on the side. An easy and elegant dessert that will impress. This is a reader favorite.

Italian Berry Cake with Mascarpone Frosting

Another really easy Italian inspired Easter dessert that looks beautiful and tastes great is this Italian layer cake with berries and a mascarpone frosting. No special decorating skills required with this one. If you can’t get mascarpone, you can use sour cream instead. This is another reader favorite!

Triple Berry Shortbread Tart

This is a really delicious shortbread tart made with one shortbread dough for the crust and top crumble layer and store bought berry preserves for the inside layer. This is a great alternative to cakes and so darn good! You will want to keep this recipe handy for all occasions.

This easy 3 ingredient vanilla condensed milk sauce will taste amazing on any dessert you buy at the store and it is so easy to make. It goes so well over bread pudding, pound cake, ice cream, just to name a few.
